Step-by-Step Guide to our application as a Dual/Concurrent Student.

  1. Start a New Application. For the first question that askes, "Will you be a high school student AND taking college courses at Mid Michigan College? Please note: If you are an International Student, please mark "NO" to this question." Select Yes - this identifies you as a dual/concurrent enrolled student.
  2. Select Citizenship - Most will be U.S. Citizens
  3. Select the Term you are planning to begin enrolling in
  4. Click the Start Application button.

*SSN is not required, but highly recommended. Not providing an SSN will prompt a request at the end of the year to obtain one, in accordance with federal regulations.

  1. Provide information on who would be most involved in your college experience
  2. Make sure to provide an accurate parent email.
  3. If you are under 18, your parent/guardian will be sent a Parent Consent for Technology Access Form. A signed consent is vital to ensure you have access to platforms, website, and materials.

  1. Choose your high school from the dropdown menu. If you cannot find it initially, search using both full spellings and common abbreviations (e.g., searching for both "Saint" and "St." or "Mount" and "Mt"). Please note that abbreviations may or may not include a period.
  2. Because our database includes nearly all public and private institutions, we recommend trying multiple variations before selecting "H.S. Not Listed."
  3. Enter your high school graduation year as a four-digit number (e.g., 2029).
