Purpose
To promote the efficient operation of College employment compliance functions, and to alleviate any risk or errors or non-compliance with the legal complexities of employing individuals who reside out-of-state.
Policy
Any positions filled at Mid by a candidate who lives out of the state of Michigan will be required to obtain employment through Edustaff, LLC and be placed on assignment at Mid.
Procedure
- The hiring manager for the position must notify Human Resources of the candidate selected to fill the position.
- If the candidate resides outside of the State of Michigan, Human Resources will direct them to the hiring process through Edustaff.
- Once the candidate has completed all of the hiring process through Edustaff, they may start their assignment at Mid in the respective position.
