Fall Registration is Open—Start Strong at Mid

Journeys begin at Mid Michigan College—and lead beyond. With personalized guidance, flexible options, and support at every step, Mid helps students move forward with confidence.

“Whether students are working toward a career or planning to transfer, we’re here to help them achieve their goals,” said Beth Binder, Director of Admissions. “Every step of the way, we’re here to encourage and support their success.”

Registration for fall courses is now open, and the semester begins Monday, August 31.
Many students can attend Mid tuition-free.

Opportunities like the Community College Guarantee and Michigan Reconnect are making college more accessible than ever.

Community College Guarantee (CCG) A tuition-free path for in-district students and significant support for out-of-district students, plus up to $1,000 to help cover costs like textbooks and transportation. Recent high school graduates have up to 18 months to enroll and take advantage of these benefits.

Michigan Reconnect Covers in-district tuition and fees after financial aid is applied, helping adults age 25+ earn a degree or certificate at little to no cost.

“Tuition-free options are helping more students take that first step,” Binder added. “With CCG and Reconnect, along with financial aid, cost doesn’t have to be a barrier.”

Students can also apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA at studentaid.gov, and Mid’s team is available to help every step of the way.

Beyond the classroom, students have access to career planning, transportation support, internet hotspots, counseling services, and the College’s food pantry—ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed.

“Life can be challenging,” said Amy Campbell, Director of Counseling & Wellness Services. “We’re here to support students through those challenges so they can stay focused on their goals.”
Whether taking a first step or making a bold move, students can build momentum, reach milestones, and celebrate success—at Mid.
