Summer Registration is Open—Move Forward at Mid

Journeys begin at Mid Michigan College—and lead beyond. With personalized guidance, flexible options, and support at every step, Mid helps students move forward.

“Whether students are working toward a career or planning to transfer, we’re here to help them achieve their goals,” said Beth Binder, Director of Admissions. “Every step of the way, we’re here to encourage and support their success.”

Registration for summer courses is now open, and the semester begins Tuesday, May 26.

“Tuition-free options make it easier than ever to get started,” Binder added. “Opportunities like the Community College Guarantee and Michigan Reconnect, along with financial aid, remove nearly all financial barriers.”

The Community College Guarantee (CCG) offers a tuition-free path for in-district students, significant support for out-of-district students, and up to $1,000 for additional expenses like textbooks and transportation. Recent high school graduates have up to 18 months to enroll and take advantage of these benefits.

Michigan Reconnect covers in-district tuition and fees after financial aid is applied, significantly reducing the cost of attendance. Reconnect is available to students age 25 and older who have not yet earned a college degree.

Students can also apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA at studentaid.gov, and Mid’s team is available to assist throughout the process.

Beyond the classroom, students have access to career planning, transportation support, internet hotspots, counseling services, and the College’s food pantry—ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed.

“Life can be challenging,” said Amy Campbell, Director of Counseling & Wellness Services. “We’re here to support students through those challenges so they can stay focused on their goals.”

Whether taking a first step or making a bold move, students can build momentum, reach milestones, and celebrate success—at Mid.

Prospective students can apply online at midmich.edu/apply or contact Admissions at admissions@midmich.edu or (989) 386-6661.
