You've already started your college journey at another college, and now you're continuing it at Mid.

Welcome to Mid!

We'll help you understand how your previous coursework fits into your plans and choose courses that keep you moving toward your goals.

You might be wondering...

Credits you’ve earned at another college or university may transfer to Mid. We’ll review your official transcripts to determine which credits are eligible to transfer and how they can apply to your educational goals.

Not every transfer credit will apply toward your specific credential. A Mid Mentor can review your transfer credits with you and help determine which courses apply to your degree requirements.

Your best courses depend on your program, previous credits, and where you want your education to take you. A Mid Mentor can help you build a plan and choose courses that keep you moving toward your goal.

Absolutely. Mid can be your first step toward a bachelor's degree. Many students complete coursework at Mid and then transfer to a four-year college or university. Planning ahead with a Mid Mentor can help you choose courses that transfer toward your intended degree and destination.

Learn more about Transfer

Mid has transfer agreements and partnerships that can make it easier to continue your education at a four-year college or university. The right option depends on your program and transfer destination.

What To Do
  • Log in to Self-Service using your Laker Login.
  • Click your user name in the upper-right corner.
  • Click Student Records Release.
  • Click Add Person/Relationship and complete the information for SELF. Make sure to choose a number you’ll remember, but others won’t guess.
Why This Matters
  • This helps us keep your information safe and make sure we’re only sharing it with you.
Important!
  • If you don’t have your Privacy PIN set up, we won’t be able to discuss certain details over the phone.
  • If you forget your Privacy PIN, call Mid's Registration & Records team at (989) 776-6622 x453 for assistance.
