It is vital that you check your Mid Mich Email regularly so you don’t miss important information or deadlines. Visit midmich.edu/account for instructions.
Several courses at Mid have prerequisites that must be completed before you can register. Guest Students have often satisfied prerequisites at their home college or university, but Mid is unable to access that information. This could prevent you from registering for courses through Self-Service.
To verify that you have met the prerequisites required at Mid, follow the steps below.
This process may take time to complete. Our email confirmation does not guarantee that a spot will be available when you attempt to register. Follow the steps above in a timely fashion, paying close attention to critical registration dates and deadlines.
Appropriate placement in courses promotes your success and allows us to assist you in selecting courses that align with your current skill levels. If you do not have access to transcripts or test scores, you may need to do additional placement testing. Your Mid Mentor can help you determine what testing needs to be completed.
Visit Registration & Records at either campus to register in person. To register online, visit myMid and click the Register for Courses link within the Self-Service tools menu. Log in to Self-Service and use this helpful guide to go through the registration process step-by-step. If you need help, email enrollment@midmich.edu.
Payment must be made by the full tuition due date. You can pay tuition online, in Student Services, or through Self-Service.
Remember that Guest Students are not eligible for financial aid through Mid Michigan College. The federal government only allows you to apply for financial aid through one college or university at a time, and that should be your home college or university where you are earning the bulk of your credits. If you won’t be enrolled at any other school, contact us about the possibility of using financial aid at Mid.
