Don’t Miss Fall Registration: Move Forward at Mid Michigan College

Whether students are preparing for a new career, planning to transfer, or returning to finish what they started, there’s still time to register for the Fall Semester at Mid Michigan College.

Journeys begin at Mid and lead beyond. With personalized guidance and support to explore options, navigate college, and find their path, Mid helps students move forward.

“Whether they are working toward a career or have plans to transfer, we help students achieve their goals,” shared Beth Binder, Director of Admissions. “Every step of the way, we’re here to encourage and support their success. ”

Fall registration is underway now, and courses begin Monday, August 31.

“Tuition-free options make it easier than ever to get started,” said Binder. “Michigan’s Community College Guarantee and Michigan Reconnect, along with traditional financial aid and Mid scholarships, are helping remove financial barriers for many students.”

Financial aid funding is provided through state and federal programs and may include grants, loans, and other specialized assistance. Students interested in these options should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov.

“Our team is available to help students complete the FAFSA and answer any questions they might have regarding these options and their requirements,” said Michelle McNier, Director of Financial Aid. “Michigan Reconnect does require an additional application, and we can help students complete that as well.”

Beyond the classroom, Mid provides resources to help students succeed, including career planning, internet hotspots, transportation vouchers, mental health counseling, the College’s food pantry, and other support services.

“Life happens, and sometimes it’s tough,” said Amy Campbell, Director of Counseling & Wellness Services. “We’re here for our students and provide or connect them with resources to help them navigate life’s challenges as they pursue their educational goals.”

Whether students are taking a small step or a bold leap, they can pursue their goals, achieve meaningful milestones, and celebrate their wins—in and out of the classroom—at Mid.

Prospective students can apply online at midmich.edu/apply or contact Admissions at admissions@midmich.edu or (989) 386-6661 to get started.

Current or returning students should contact their Mid Mentor for assistance at midmich.edu/mentors.

Fall classes begin August 31. There’s still time to register and start moving toward your goals.
