Academic Affairs has responsibility for all aspects of the Instructional Activity at the college from development of the courses by faculty to matters pertaining to faculty assignments, development of the course schedule, grade review hearings, and Honors Convocation.
- Instructional matters receive direct oversight through the work of the academic deans.
- Another key responsibility of Academic Affairs is the oversight and coordination of the College's accreditation activities. Mid is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
