The Charles J. Strosacker Foundation Invests $100,000 in the Morey Event Center

Mid Michigan College has received a generous $100,000 gift from the Strosacker Foundation in support of the new Morey Event Center—a transformational project designed to create a home for Laker Athletics, community events, campus gatherings, and training offerings on the College’s Mt. Pleasant Campus.

“The Strosacker Foundation’s gift is helping make the Morey Event Center a reality and will support Laker Athletics and community events for years to come,” said Alexa Carey, Executive Director of the Mid Michigan College Foundation. “We are grateful for their partnership and commitment to students and the broader community.”

The Strosacker Foundation’s gift will help advance construction and programmatic planning for the facility, ensuring the space is responsive to student and community needs.

“We are proud to support Mid Michigan College and a project that will positively impact students, athletics, and the broader community,” said Kimberlee Baczewski, President and CEO of the Strosacker Foundation. “The Morey Event Center will be a place where learning, athletics, and community come together.”

The Morey Event Center has received strong support from regional partners and philanthropic organizations committed to the long-term success of Mid Michigan College and the communities it serves.
