The Mid Michigan College Foundation recently hosted its annual Evening of Gratitude on the College’s Harrison Campus, bringing together donors, faculty, staff, and community partners for a night dedicated to appreciation and celebration.

“We welcomed a wonderful group of Mid supporters to campus,” shared Alexa Carey, Executive Director of the Mid Foundation. “An Evening of Gratitude is one of our favorite traditions each year. It’s our chance to pause, celebrate, and thank the people who make opportunity possible for our students—their generosity truly changes lives.”

During the event, Mid President Tim Hood shared updates on the College’s Rooted in Community, Growing for Tomorrow campaign—an ambitious initiative that includes plans for a new event center, upgrades to skilled trades and health science labs, and campus beautification projects that will serve students and the community for years to come.

The College also recognized the Board of Trustees, the Foundation Board, and the Campaign Committee for their continued leadership and commitment to Mid’s mission.

One of the evening’s most memorable moments came from student speaker April Osbeck, who shared her inspiring story about how Mid and donor support have positively shaped her college experience and personal growth.

An Evening of Gratitude is always a special reminder of how much can be accomplished when our community comes together,” noted Courtney Silverthorn, Director of Development for the Mid Foundation. “The generosity and commitment shown by our donors and partners continue to inspire us.”

Guests enjoyed a warm and welcoming atmosphere over dinner as all in attendance reflected on the many ways donor support has transformed the lives of students and strengthened the College’s future.
