This event is organized into two distinct sessions. An exclusive, RSVP only lunch with speaker presentations, followed by an open-to-the-public health fair where everyone is welcome!

This event is organized into two distinct sessions.

  • Noon - 12:45pm | Speaker Presentations 
    • Pelvic Floor Therapy with Dr. Jeralyn Strong
      • Jerilyn Strong is a physical therapist at MyMichigan Health, located in Ithaca, Michigan. Graduating with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010 from Central Michigan University, she has been practicing for 15 years and specializes in pelvic health. Jerilyn works with those who have pelvic pain, urinary symptoms, bowel symptoms, and during pregnancy. She also delivers care to clients post-partum to help them return to running and sports following the birth of their baby. It has been her honor to provide specialized care throughout all stages and empower patients to get back to doing what they love. In her free time, Jerilyn enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their four daughters.
    • Osteoporosis with Dr. Sarah Van Sumaren
      • Sarah VanSumeren, P.A.-C., is a bone health specialist and valued member of the comprehensive musculoskeletal care team at MyMichigan Health. With a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Central Michigan University and board certification as a Physician Assistant, Sarah brings advanced clinical expertise to her role. She specializes in the screening and diagnosis of osteoporosis and other metabolic bone disorders, with a strong focus on preventing secondary fractures. Her work includes coordinating bone density scans, assessing fall risk, counseling patients on lifestyle and nutritional strategies, managing medication therapy, and providing ongoing treatment and follow-up care.
    • Healthcare Dollars with Steffany Stine from Isabella Community Credit Union
      • Steffany Stine is a member of the Isabella Community Credit Union team, where she brings 15 years of experience in financial services, specializing in operations, fraud prevention, money management, and member support. She is passionate about helping individuals and families gain access to the tools, guidance, and education they need at all ages to achieve financial stability and growth. She leverages her experience and education to focus on development and empowerment, taking pride in building genuine connections and creating opportunities that have a lasting and noticeable impact.
  • 12:45pm - 1:30pm | Question & Answer Session

    • Mid Michigan College Nursing & Physical Therapist Assistant Students provide health insights and information, basic wellness checks, and more.
    • Local Vendors share wares, services, and offerings.
    • NEW! Vaccinations - Bring your insurance card; there may be a charge for vaccination services.
    • NEW! Car Seat Safety Checks available in the designated location in the north parking lot.
    • NEW! Complete a simple cheek swab to join the national bone marrow registry and help save lives.
