Purpose
To allow all Mid employees and Mid assigned contracted employees to attend one (1) Lifelong Learning class per fiscal year at no cost to them.
Policy
The Community Outreach area will be allocated funds to cover the cost for the Mid employees and Mid assigned contracted employees to attend one (1) Lifelong Learning class per fiscal year, pending seat availability in the selected class section.
There is no class cost maximum.
Procedure
- Participants desiring to take advantage of this benefit must email the Community Outreach Specialist, from their Mid email, a request to participate in a specific class.
- The Community Outreach Specialist will enroll the participant in the class and ensure they are logged appropriately for use of the grant for the appropriate fiscal year.
