Mid Students Have Options for Paying Tuition & Fees

  • On Campus in Student Services | Student Service Specialists are available on both campuses to assist you with setting up a payment plan or with receiving your cash, check, or card payment. Processing fees may apply; see below.
  • Online through Self-Service with a Debit or Credit Card | You can pay online with a debit or credit card using Self-Service. Processing fees apply, see below.
  • Online through Self-Service with your Bank Account | You can pay online
    with your bank routing and account numbers using Self-Service. Processing
    fees apply, see below.
  • By Phone with Business Services | Call (989) 386-6611 to speak with Business Services, who can take debit or credit card payments over the phone or answer any payment questions you may have. Processing fees apply, see below.
  • Via Personal Check, Cashier's Check, or Money Order | Make these types of payment payable to Mid Michigan College and mail them to Mid Michigan College ATTN: Cashier 1375 South Clare Avenue, Harrison, MI 48625 or leave them with a Student Services Specialist on either campus.
  • Payment Plans | Visit mycollegepaymentplan.com for Nelnet Payment Plan Information. If you choose to set up an automatic payment plan using Nelnet Business Solutions (NBS), NBS charges a fee of $30 for using their payment plan service. If a credit/debit card is used, a convenience fee in addition to the service fee will be assessed. Depending on when you set up your payment plan, the number of payments that you make will vary. Processing Fees

Payments of any amount made by EFT from your bank account incur a small convenience fee of $2.50. EFT payments can only be accepted through Self-Service.

  • Debit and credit card payments made in-person, online, or over the phone incur a convenience fee of 2.75% of the amount paid. For example, a payment of $1,000 will incur an additional $27.50 fee.
  • Payments made by cash, check, cashier’s check, or money order are
    accepted in-person or via the mail with no additional fee.

NBS Payment Plan Information

  • If you choose a payment plan, it MUST be set up by the tuition due date or you will be dropped from your courses.
  • Do not assume that your payment plan balance will automatically be adjusted if financial aid is awarded and added to your account or if you drop or add a course. Review your agreement online via the Nelnet Log in Access Link above or contact us at (989) 386-6611 with any questions or requests regarding changes to your Nelnet payment plan.
  • Nelnet Business Solutions requires a change to occur TWO (2) business days before a scheduled payment date for the change to take effect.

You will need a few things to get started.

  • Mid Mich Student ID Number
  • Amount you are paying
  • Bank Account and Routing Number or card information.

Follow these steps to set up a payment plan.

  • Visit Nelnet Business Solutions to start the payment process. If prompted, type in Mid Michigan College when asked to Find Your School.
  • Login or create an account.
  • Click on the Set up a Payment Plan link.
  • Enter the amount you are paying under Tuition and Fees on the Amount Due step. Enter $0 for Financial Aid (even if you have aid).
  • Select the Pay Using drop-down box to select the payment method.

You will receive confirmation of your payment for your records. Your account at the College will be credited within a few business days.
