Mid Recognizes Exceptional Employees

Mid Michigan College focuses on delivering knowledge and ability to empower learners and transform communities—including the community formed by the College’s faculty and staff.

In early 2020, an idea took shape to annually recognize faculty and staff members for efforts that exceeded the expectations of College leaders and their peers, and this tradition continues today.

Kelley Eltzroth Full-Time Faculty - Psychology

• Kelley Eltzroth has dedicated nearly 25 years to teaching psychology at Mid Michigan College. She is known for her generosity and attentiveness, creating student-centered classrooms where individuals are recognized and supported. As a leader in innovative teaching, she has helped advance educational resources and shape key initiatives, including new programs and faculty development. She is deeply engaged on campus and serves in numerous committees. Kelley is generous with her time and care with both students and colleagues, and is an inspiration to her peers to constantly strive for excellence.

Amy Brooks | Director of Career Center & Accommodations

• Amy Brooks plays a vital role in supporting student success at Mid Michigan College, especially for those navigating college for the first time. Known for her approachable and compassionate demeanor, she connects students with essential resources, including disability accommodations, TRIO services, and academic and career guidance. Amy remains actively engaged in students’ journeys from their first day through all the major milestones. Her dedication, care, and commitment to student well-being make her an invaluable member of the Mid Community.
