"Eric's commitment to excellence and selflessness epitomizes the spirit of our HRA program. His dedication to both academic achievement and supporting his peers sets a remarkable example for us all. Congratulations, Eric, for being a beacon of inspiration and teamwork in our community," noted Ron Holmes, HRA Lead Faculty at Mid. "Austin's academic excellence is matched only by his selfless spirit. His readiness to help and share knowledge reflects true teamwork. His commitment not just to his success, but to that of his peers, is exemplary. Congratulations, Austin, for being a beacon of support and excellence in our HRA program!"

Each school term, Malco recognizes high-achieving students and entire graduating classes in the HVAC/sheet metal, building construction, and autobody repair fields through the “Head of the Class” Student Recognition Program.

“The HRA program at Mid has been an absolute springboard for advancement and understanding, with great instruction and hands-on work that has propelled me into a deeper understanding of the field,” shared Isaac. “I am extremely happy with the investment and would highly recommend this program to anyone, young or old, who is looking to learn a new and rewarding trade.”

Since 2005, the program has reached more than 85,000 students, from over 1,000 technical schools, Union Joint Apprenticeship Training Committees, and Industry Association education programs across the U.S. and Canada.

“This program was amazing. I’ve met some awesome people and made some good friends as well. I have learned many new things here and cannot wait to see what my future holds in the field. A big thanks to my instructors and classmates,” said Lake.

Mid’s HRA lab features heating and refrigeration units for hands-on learning that prepares students to enter the workforce successfully. In addition, fast-track options allow students to earn multiple credentials and certifications in just one year, and 100% of students are placed in internships and jobs following graduation.
