Requirements

  • Must have completed twelve (12) or more credit hours.
  • Must have a GPA of 3.0 or greater to join.
  • Must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or greater.

Attend a Chapter Meeting!

  • Chapter Meetings are held at 10am on Fridays.

Mid Michigan College is excited to celebrate academic excellence of new inductees and welcome them into Mid's Alpha Omicron Omicron Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Current members and Mid faculty and staff are also welcome to join the festivities.

PTK Mission & Resources

Mission

"The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence."

Phi Theta Kappa's mission is two-fold.

  • To recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students.
  • To provide opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service, and fellowship programming.
