You may be wondering... Do I need to go to college? Is college worth it? The answer is YES! A college degree offers you a lifetime of benefits, and many obstacles that may keep you from beginning your college education can be overcome with help from Mid.

I don't think I can afford to go to college.

• Financial support from a variety of sources is available and we can help you apply. From federal financial aid to Michigan's Tuition Incentive Program (TIP), and from scholarships to work-study opportunities, there are many options that can help you overcome financial barriers.

I earn good money at the job I have now.

• Right now your current job might be enough to cover the costs of your needs and wants, but as your goals change so do the resources you need. Let's say you want to buy a home or a new vehicle in the future. A better-paying job might help you make those purchases, and many better-paying jobs require more advanced skills that you can develop as you earn a college degree.

I haven't been the best student in high school.
