Mid offers degrees, credentials, and rapid-training programs that build the skills required for careers that fall into the ‘middle-skills jobs gap.’ These careers are essential to our communities and provide stable, well-paying employment opportunities for our graduates.

As a regional provider of education and training, Mid’s impact is felt throughout the mid-Michigan area. Its employees, students and graduates spend money, pay taxes, contribute to the community, and meet critical workforce needs.
$24,042,530 in financial aid was awarded to students last year. Students used these funds to pay for college-related expenses like tuition, books, childcare, housing, and transportation.
4,300 Mid alumni live in the central Michigan area and contribute to the local economy.
99 interns were placed in area businesses over the last two years to supplement the local workforce
456 health-related degrees were awarded in the last three years, helping to meet the demand for skilled healthcare providers.
