Malware and phishing attempts occur every day and cybercriminals are getting smarter and more clever in their approaches. Universities, hospitals, government agencies, and businesses are regularly hacked and Mid Michigan College is working hard to protect our campus community.

Remember computer security is everyone's job! You can help keep our campus secure by taking the steps listed below.

• Always use strong passwords and don't share them.
• Report phishing email attempts.
  • Open the email on the Web.
  • Select the menu at the top right (the three upright dots).
  • Select Report Phishing. This sends a message to Mid Michigan College Administrators who will investigate the phishing attempt.
