No person shall be penalized for good faith utilization of channels available for resolving complaints of discrimination, harassment or sexual misconduct under any of Mid’s Policies. It is prohibited for Mid or any member of the campus community to intimidate, threaten, coerce, or discriminate against any individual for the purpose of interfering with any right or privilege secured by College policy, or because the individual has made a report or complaint, testified, assisted, participated, or refused participation in any manner of an investigation, proceeding or hearing under either the College’s Campus Non Discrimination, Harassment and Sexual Misconduct Policy or the Title IX Sexual Harassment Policy.
Anyone who believes that they have been the victim of retaliation for opposing discriminatory or harassing behavior, reporting sexual harassment, or participating/cooperating in an investigation, should immediately contact the Title IX/Civil Rights Coordinator. Any person found to have retaliated against a person for engaging in protected activity will be in violation of Policy and may be subject to disciplinary action.
