Retaliation

No person shall be penalized for using, in good faith, channels available for resolving complaints of misconduct under any of Mid’s Policies.  It is prohibited for Mid or any member of the campus community to intimidate, threaten, coerce, harassment, or discriminate against any individual for the purpose of interfering with any right or privilege secured by College policy, or against any person for engaging in protected activities.

Anyone who believes that they have been the victim of retaliation for opposing discriminatory behavior, reporting sexual misconduct, or participating/cooperating in an investigation, should immediately contact the Title IX/Civil Rights Coordinator or Deputy, listed herein.  Any person found to have retaliated against a person for engaging in protected activity, will be in violation of this Policy and may be subject to disciplinary action.
