Get more from your Transfer degree at Mid!

We don't think about starting at Mid as "starting small." We think about it as dreaming big. Our transfer degrees are designed for flexibility. They promote our students' curiosity, critical reasoning, and confidence, along with their ability to form complex connections between concepts and between themselves and others.

Mid specializes in general education and introductory-level classes, because they account for so much of what we offer. Our experienced faculty care, and they carefully develop coursework that promotes broad and deep student learning.

Our Health Sciences Transfer graduates go on to bachelor degree programs in many fields:

  • Nursing
  • Community / Public Health
  • Healthcare Administration
  • Exercise Physiology / Science
  • Medical Case Management
  • School Health Education
  • Environmental Health and Safety
  • Substance Abuse Education
  • And More...

Students are encouraged to meet with an Mid Mentor to select courses that are appropriate for their academic and career goals.

Our Health Science Transfer graduates have options. Because we build each student's learning plan based on their particular goals for transfer, the possibilities are broad.

Currently, Mid has transfer agreements and articulation agreements with close to 35 different colleges and universities in Michigan and beyond.

Our RN-BSN articulations with Michigan State University, Ferris State University, University of Michigan-Flint, Saginaw Valley State University, Eastern Michigan University, and Grand Valley State University allow students to complete about three-quarters of their BSNs (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) while at Mid and achieve their ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing) along the way.

Even if you don't see your intended university listed, you have options. We'll work directly with other universities to discover what Mid courses and degrees will work for you.

To find out what transfer plans are currently in place, select a university from our transfer tool and investigate its transfer guides.
