83% of first-time, full-time freshman receive aid to offset costs and options for aid include federal funding, like grants or loans, or scholarships. Mid also employs many student workers through both College funding and the Federal Work-Study Program.
Complete the FAFSA
Your aid package will be determined based on your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), which you can fill out at StudentAid.gov. Mid's School Code is 006768.
Apply for Scholarships
Through one online application, you can sign up for all Mid Michigan College scholarships. Visit our Scholarship Application for a full list of scholarships and apply October 1 through March 15.
Community College Guarantee
High school graduates from the class of 2023 onward are eligible for the Community College Guarantee. Earn your degree tuition-free! Michigan's Community College Guarantee provides a tuition-free path for in-district students, significant financial assistance for out-district students, and an additional $1,000 for students who qualify to cover non-tuition costs like textbooks and transportation.
Michigan Reconnect
Are you 21+ and looking to begin or restart your college education? This scholarship pays a large portion of tuition and mandatory fees for eligible adults 21 years of age and older who want to pursue a qualifying college degree or certificate. Learn more and apply today!
Students aged 21-24 must begin at Mid during the Winter or Summer 2025 semester to take advantage of the Michigan Reconnect Scholarship. After the Summer 2025 semester, the Reconnect age requirement returns to 25+.
