Next Steps

Once you've applied, give yourself a pat on the back. You've taken the first big step. And you're already being connected to your Mid Mentor, who is ready and waiting to be your personal guide throughout your time at Mid.

Meet the Mid Mentors to learn more about them and to easily contact your Mid Mentor with any questions. If you don't yet know who your Mid Mentor is, no problem! We can put you in touch at (989) 386-6661 or mentors@midmich.edu.

STEP 1: Set up mymid and your Mid Email.

Add myMid to your phone’s home screen for easy access to useful tools and important updates. Access Self-Service, Student Planning, financial aid, grades, campus events, course cancellation notifications, and much more! Simply launch a web browser on your phone, go to midmich.edu/mymid, tap the Share button or browser menu, tap the Add to Home Screen button, and tap Add.

It is vital that you check your Mid email. We will begin sending you important information about your financial aid and next steps immediately. Visit midmich.edu/mymid, click Account Setup, and follow the prompts. To complete this process you must have a non-MidMich email or personal email on record with the College. You likely provided this email on your Admissions Application. If you can’t recall or no longer have access to that email, contact your Mid Mentor for assistance.

Contact the Mid Helpdesk at (989) 317-4630 or helpdesk@midmich.edu.

STEP 3: Send us your Transcripts & TEST Scores.

If you've graduated from high school within three years, send us your high school transcripts and standardized test scores . If you've attended other colleges, have your college transcripts sent to us as well. If it's been longer than three years since you've graduated, you may need to complete additional placement testing.

How to send us your transcripts

Send them electronically via Parchment. Visit parchment.com and request that an electronic version be sent to Mid Michigan College. It's fast, easy, and secure. And if you're still in high school, it's free. If you've graduated, it's only $3.25.

--or--

  • Collect them in person, through the mail, or in electronic format. Deliver them to Mid through any of the following methods.
    • Drop them off to Admissions at either campus
    • Fax them to Attn: Admissions to (989) 386-6613
    • Mail them to Mid Michigan College ATTN: Admissions 1375 S. Clare Ave., Harrison, MI 48625

How to send us your SAT/ACT scores

When you take the SAT/ACT, you can indicate Mid as a recipient school. If you have already taken the SAT/ACT, you can deliver your score in person, or via email, mail, or fax. Use the contact information listed above.

You can also sign in to your College Board account and request that a copy of your score be sent to Mid electronically. For more information, visit College Board.

Complete additional placement testing (if necessary)

Appropriate placement in courses promotes your success and allows us to assist you in selecting courses that align with your current skill levels. If you do not have access to transcripts or test scores, you may need to do additional placement testing. Your Mid Mentor can help you determine what you need to submit or what testing needs to be completed.
