The total closing of the college on other than those days denoted on the Academic calendar shall be authorized by the President or designee. A change to the college’s hours must be approved by the Board of Trustees.

College property shall be inventoried so as to provide the College with reliable information for insurance purposes and equipment accountability.

College sites shall be developed in a manner that aligns with the philosophy, mission, core values, and goals of the College. The Board will consider proposals for campus development that align with the College's Campus Master Plan and have secured the President's support. Final disposition of each proposal shall be made by official action of the Board of Trustees.
The College shall update the Campus Master Plan as needed to ensure that it remains useful and up to date.

The Board of Trustees authorizes the President to establish procedures, roles and charges associated with the use and/or rental by organizations or individuals of College facilities and equipment at all its locations.
Further, the Board grants the President the authority to determine which organizations may rent or use the College facilities and equipment and to specify the terms.

Materials posted at any College location must be appropriate for an educational setting, may not detract from the aesthetics of the property, may not damage campus facilities, and should be coordinated through Strategic Communications. Locations available for posting may be limited and/or restricted at any time. The College reserves the right to remove any and all types of posted material that are considered to be contrary to the best interests of the College.

The Board of Trustees recognizes the importance of the Charles A. Amble Library on Mid Michigan College’s Harrison campus and the Library and Learning Services at Mid Michigan College’s Mount Pleasant location. These libraries have the responsibility to serve as supportive units to instructional programs.
The President shall ensure that materials selected or donated to the library are in alignment with the mission and goals of the College, stimulate student reading and research, and support faculty instructional needs.
