Mid's Institutional Research team supports operations and decision-making through the collection, analysis, and dissemination of information. The team also provides data related to strategic planning and accreditation activities, as well as required reports to external agencies.
Institutional Research (IR) supports the operations of Mid Michigan College through the collection, analysis, interpretation, and effective dissemination of data. The Director of Institutional Research, with expertise in data-driven, decision-making processes, delivers well-founded reports and visually striking presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.

To increase the quality and quantity of data literacy among stakeholders, for internal and external accountability, program improvements, and decision-making support. Institutional Research provides expertise to the College in continuous pursuit of a data-informed, decision-making culture.
Dr. Karolina Achirri has over 20 years of experience in higher education in the United States and abroad. She holds a Ph.D. from Michigan State University in Second Language Studies as well as UX/UI credentials. She loves to look deeper into people’s experiences (qualitative research) as well as into institutions’ data health (quantitative research).
