Women knitting in a group

Fundamentals of Knitting 2

Mt. Pleasant Campus | Classroom CLAB 178

Series is on Thursday evenings from 6-8pm on the following dates:

April 17, 24, May 1 & 8, 2025.

Take your knitting skills to the next level in this engaging four-week class! We’ll build on the basics by mastering the knit and purl stitches, exploring why stitches behave the way they do, and improving your casting-on techniques. You’ll also learn to read patterns, knit in the round, work simple stitch patterns, and practice decreases as we create a cozy hat. If time allows, we’ll dive into a second project to further expand your skills.

This class is perfect for anyone who can already knit, purl, and cast on but wants to deepen their understanding and gain more confidence.
