National Wear Purple Day is a national day of action each October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Everyone is encouraged to wear all things purple as a symbol of peace, courage, survival, honor, and personal dedication to domestic violence awareness.

Keynote Speaker
- Brandi Pols, the mother of Rowan Morey, shares her story and what she is doing to initiate changes to protect children from domestic violence, even if they are with a custodial parent. Her initiative, currently known as Rowan's Alert, will hopefully soon be known as Rowan's Law.
Plus, hear from local service organizations on how we can all be a part of positive change when it comes to domestic violence and the services they have to assist victims.
Refreshments will be served.
