This class is beginner-friendly or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies or find yourself frustrated with royal icing, this is the class for you!
This month's cookies feature a festive Cinco de Mayo theme, and once you're finished decorating, each will be cheery and bright!
You're going to learn fundamental flooding and piping techniques and leave with a set of six exquisitely decorated cookies.
Everything you need will be supplied by Ginger from Ginger's Cookie Jar, including cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box for taking your amazing creations home in—we just need YOU!

Instructor: Ginger Kaufman
Ginger is a kindergarten paraprofessional at Mt. Pleasant’s Ganiard Elementary School by day. She owns Ginger’s Cookie Jar by night and teaches Royal Icing Cookie Classes through Mid Michigan College’s Lifelong Learning program.
Whether her students make cookies only once a year or are seasoned bakers, Ginger welcomes all skill levels to her monthly classes. The students in her Royal Icing Cookie Decorating classes have traveled from as far away as Montcalm, Ottawa, Roscommon, and Washtenaw counties to learn her tips and tricks for finessing piping icing into whimsically decorated cookies.
