Annual Employee Awards

Each year the Mid community comes together to recognize those team members who have gone above and beyond in the previous year. Nominations are due each year by March 15, and recipients are recognized at an awards presentation in April. Learn more about the awards available and submit a nomination below!

Full-Time Faculty Excellence in Education Award

The Full-Time Faculty Excellence in Education Award honors a Mid Michigan College full-time faculty member for their contributions toward Mid’s Enduring Goal of Encouraging Student Success and our Core Value of Learning. The ideal recipient should engage and stimulate students, convey excitement about their discipline, set high expectations, challenge students, and be committed to growth, change, and vitality in the classroom and at Mid. The Mid Michigan College Foundation has graciously sponsored this award. The recipient will receive an award of $1,000.

Adjunct Faculty Excellence in Education Award

The Adjunct Faculty Excellence in Education Award recognizes an adjunct faculty member or lectureship for their contributions toward Mid’s Enduring Goal of Encouraging Student Success and our Core Value of Learning. The ideal recipient should engage and stimulate students, convey excitement about their discipline, set high expectations, and challenge students. The Mid Michigan College Foundation has graciously sponsored this award. The recipient will receive an award of $500.

Heron Award of Service Excellence

The Heron Award of Service Excellence recognizes a Mid Michigan College full-time employee for their contributions to Mid’s Enduring Goals and Core Values. This award honors a member of the Mid community who has provided distinguished service to the College and has gone above and beyond the responsibilities of their position. The Mid Michigan College Foundation has graciously sponsored this award. The recipient will receive an award of $1,000.
