Health Requirements for Nursing Clinicals

Students in the Mid Nursing Program are expected to maintain a satisfactory level of mental and physical stability to enable and insure a safe and competent level of functioning.

Students are required to complete a health assessment along with having their immunization record current.

  • Current Physical Examination
  • Current Negative TB Test Results (annual proof of results and date read) or negative chest x-ray
  • Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR) Immunizations or Titer
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Acellular (TD, Tdap) vaccination or Titer
  • Hepatitis B (proof of shots and dates or Titer; *waivers not accepted for Hep B)
  • Varicella vaccination or Titer
  • Current CPR as required by the program
  • Influenza Vaccination
  • 10-panel Urinalysis Drug Screening Results
  • COVID-19 Vaccinations and Boosters

Nursing Readmission Policy

Students seeking readmission to the Nursing program will need to follow the READMISSION POLICY. Please be aware that readmission is NOT guaranteed to the nursing program if a student fails or withdraws. Please contact the Nursing office for guidance on readmission.

Complio / ACEMAPP

Upon acceptance into the Nursing Program, students will be instructed on how to make both
Complio and ACEMAPP accounts.

  • Complio consists of the Immunization Tracker, Criminal background Check and Drug Screening. The cost for Complio is at the expense of the student.
  • ACEMAPP is required by the clinical partners and tracks student compliance prior to attending a clinical rotation.
