Mid's Information Technology Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Pathway prepares you to maintain information technology (IT) components that are the foundation of IT services. These are typically physical components (computers, networking hardware, and facilities) and include various software solutions and security protocols. Cybersecurity-specific courses within the pathway prepare you to protect those components and IT services from various types of data-mining and hacking attempts.
Mid's Software Development Pathway prepares you for a career that involves designing, creating, and implementing computer applications. You'll also develop skills to assist you with analyzing clients' needs and creating software-based solutions. A software developer is a problem-solver who helps to create IT solutions to business problems.
Mid's Game Programming Pathway allows you to gain the skills needed to write code for video games. Game Programmers work closely with game designers, who design the art, soundscape, and overall player experience. In some companies, the duties of game programmer and game designer overlap, with everyone on the team contributing to game design and functionality.
