Add myMid to your phone’s home screen for easy access to useful tools and important updates. Access Self-Service, campus events, your financial aid, schedule, grades, course cancellation notifications, and more.
It is vital that you check your Mid Mich Email. We will begin sending you important information about your financial aid and next steps immediately. Visit MyMid, click Account Setup, and follow the prompts. To complete this process you must have a non-Mid Mich email or personal email on record with the College. You likely provided this email on your Admissions Application. If you can’t recall or no longer have access to that email, contact your Mid Mentor for assistance.
Once you have set up your Mid Account, contact your Mid Mentor to discuss your courses for the upcoming semester. If you are already in town, you may schedule an in-person appointment to complete this step. If you are currently outside of the United States or are unable to come to the Mt. Pleasant Campus, you can discuss your courses via email or you may schedule an online appointment.
All new international students at Mid must attend International Student Orientation with our International Mid Mentor. This orientation is required for both brand new university students in the USA, and also for transfer international students who have not yet attended Mid as a full-time student. Students who have attended another USA university full-time, but who have not yet attended Mid as a full-time student, are not exempt from orientation.
During International Student Orientation you'll receive your Mid Michigan College Student ID and visit campus. You'll also leave orientation with a better understanding of how to navigate American culture, how to operate in an American college classroom, and will learn about the resources and tools available at Mid to support your success. Students who have not yet registered for their courses by orientation will complete that process as well.
