Mid Michigan College has a selective admission process to the nursing program. This involves several application processes and steps. Students are only eligible to apply for the nursing program AFTER prerequisite courses are completed.
Please review our NURSING ADMISSIONS PACKET for complete details on all the steps and prerequisites that must be completed in order to ELIGIBLE to apply to the nursing program.

Final acceptance into the nursing program is pending until the student completes a criminal background check and drug screening. Please be aware that if a student has a felony or certain misdemeanors, they WILL NOT be admitted to the nursing program. Please note that immunizations are required for ALL students entering the nursing program.
Once you have completed all your pre-nursing requirements and prerequisites, you will be ELIGIBLE to apply to the nursing program. Mid has a selective admissions process. Applying does not guarantee admission to the program.
Application Deadlines
Fall Admissions (Harrison Campus) - Applications available in January, due third Friday of May
Winter Admissions (Mt. Pleasant Campus) - Applications available in June, due first Friday of September
The Nursing Readmission application is for previous nursing students that withdrew from the nursing program or were unsuccessful in completing their courses. Students may be readmitted to the program a maximum of one (1) time.
