ETS enrolls all students in grades 6-12 at the 5 Clare-Gladwin RESD public school districts and Coleman Community Schools. Educational Talent Search must keep a ratio of 2/3 of its total students qualify as low-income AND first-generation college students. The other 1/3 of our program participants do not need to fit into any category.
To be classified as low-income, students must meet federal income guidelines. If a student qualifies for free or reduced lunch, is eligible for Medicaid or other state assistance, they are accepted as low-income. For other questions about low-income status, please contact the ETS office.
